Great Whales
This collection honours my father’s life’s work which included the research of great whales and their migration patterns along the coast of Western Australia. It saw the beginning of aerial surveying and lead to conservation of these magnificant creatures.
My father’s books also led me to make a connection with preeminent artist Larry Foster, who was one of the first artists to paint and draw the whales as they really were and not as strange mythological sea monsters.
