My pond fish are orange paint strokes and quiet black shadows offering a simple
pleasure.

I work in series. I have been exploring the forms of aquatic life. It began with the
observation of my goldfish. I enjoyed the challenge of capturing the fluidity of their movement and
the absurdity of their shapes. With the seahorse I love the skeletal structures and textures. They are
like floating coral with eyes.
